Gratitudes: Ms. H.

My shout out for today is for Ms. H., my truest lovely one, companion, friend, lover, heart-felt world explorer and confident. To say that she has fundamentally changed my world is to understate the obvious.

From her I have learned the value of showing up, regardless of how I feel; the value of saving more than I spend (a tough one for me); the value of phone calls and cards to friends and families (another really tough one for me); the value of quiet dignity over flash.

I read somewhere that in love we can hope for someone who , through their own actions, pushes us to be the very best we can be. Well, I am more focused, more monied, more wealthy and happier than I have ever been.

All thanks to Ms. H. She is my true north.
