The photo above is a shot of the left-side crank arm spindle. These are found on vintage bicycles.
I am restoring a 30-year-old frame to teach myself about bicycles. At this point I am stuck as I am unable to unscrew the spindle cup. In the past I would have given up right about now.
Today, though, I stop and take some pictures and send them out to old-school bike repair folks living at all points on the interwebz.
Before I used to give up. Now I give in to the limits of my knowledge and ask for help.
