Relaxation

Relaxation at the beginning of a stay-at-home vacation is always difficult for me. I find I want to do the many things around the house that need to be done. Then I just seem to relax into the thing, and I begin by taking a nap, a one hour or so nap, which drifts into two hours and then three.

At the 3 1/2 hour nap mark I know I am letting go of the 9-to-5 hold and slipping into relaxation mode. Sleep comes and I welcome it. The time for a nap and the permission I give myself to do it is one of the best parts of a stay-at-home vacation.
